The Ministry of Defense has created a system to combat corruption. The leadership of the military department, representatives of anti-corruption bodies, and international partners discussed the introduction of anti-corruption actions during the VI International Scientific and Practical Forum "Effective Management and Fostering Integrity in the Security and Defense Sector".
Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal noted that the implemented management system against corruption has strengthened the institutional capacity of the responsible structures of the military department. During the forum, a new document was presented - "Policy for Building Integrity in the Defense Forces of Ukraine", which aims to introduce NATO standards into the defense culture. The initiative for the event was taken by the leadership of the National Defense University of Ukraine.
As part of the forum, a discussion took place on the importance of combating corruption in the army and raising the level of integrity in the defense sector. The Ministry of Defense actively implements new methods and strategies to prevent corruption in the army and strengthen institutional capacity in this area.
