Calendar plan for the national multi-subject test for 2026
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has approved the calendar plan for the national multi-subject test (NMT) for 2026. The main phase of testing will take place from May 20 to June 25. The order approving the schedule was signed by Minister Oksen Lisovyi.
Main phases of testing
The main session of the NMT will last six weeks, during which participants will be able to take a test consisting of two blocks of 120 minutes each. The main subjects of the test are:
- Ukrainian language
- Mathematics
- History of Ukraine
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to choose from a list of subjects, which include:
- Ukrainian literature
- Foreign languages (English, Spanish, French)
- Biology
- Geography
- Physics
- Chemistry
After the main session, for those who could not take the test during the main period, an additional session of the NMT is scheduled to take place from July 17 to 24. Furthermore, the schedule indicates that the main session of the unified entrance exam (EVI) and the unified professional entrance examination (EFVV) will take place from June 26 to July 14, while the additional session will be from August 3 to 21.
It is also important to note that the exams for obtaining the PhD degree will take place from July 14 to 29. This schedule aims to organize the testing process and ensure convenience for all participants.
The approval of the calendar plan for the NMT for 2026 is an important step in preparing for the admission campaign, allowing students to plan their preparatory activities in advance. Changes in the testing schedule can significantly affect the strategies for learning and preparation of applicants. Additional testing sessions will provide opportunities for those who could not take the exams during the main period to continue their path to higher education.
