Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal announced the possibility of involving critical infrastructure enterprises in the state air defense system. The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted an experimental procedure that involves engaging enterprises in forming air defense groups.
“Operators of critical infrastructure, such as enterprises that ensure the operation of energy, communications, transport, water supply, and other strategic areas, can join the project. Participation in the project is open to enterprises that have the necessary resources and comply with security requirements,” emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
The government has decided to introduce the possibility of engaging critical infrastructure enterprises in the air defense system. This will allow for more effective functioning of the country's protective structures and increase the overall level of security. Enterprises that are of significant importance to national infrastructure and can ensure uninterrupted operation in case of danger are invited to participate in the project.
