Mikhail Fedorov's Political Prospects
Sociologist Andriy Yermenko discussed the political future of Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov during a broadcast with political analyst Yuriy Romanenko. According to Yermenko, Fedorov now holds his own presidential polling numbers, enabling him to draw voters away from figures like Budanov, Zelenskyy, and Poroshenko. “Just recently, we finalized a survey on who is considered the best minister. Fedorov turned out to be one of the few officials with an entirely positive rating, while others have substantial disapproval,” the sociologist noted.He also emphasized that Fedorov consistently ranks in the top three or four in terms of public recognition.

“If you ask who people would vote for without Fedorov, and then who they would vote for with him, he immediately lands at the top. He can be first, second, or third,” Yermenko stated.He added that Fedorov's rising ratings directly reduce support for other politicians: “When his numbers go up, the figures for other candidates drop.”
In the sociologist's view, current President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has developed a strong disapproval rating, while Poroshenko retains a large but firmly limited base of supporters.
