Visit of the Minister of Defense to Zaporizhzhia
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksii Shmyhal, visited the air defense command post in Zaporizhzhia, where he listened to a report on the effectiveness of combat operations. The visit took place at the base of the anti-aircraft missile brigade, where Shmyhal familiarized himself with the activities of the Tactical Air Defense Group 'Zaporizhzhia'.
During the meeting, the Minister of Defense thanked the soldiers who daily repel enemy drone and missile attacks. Shmyhal also noted that
“we are consistently developing an air defense shield over our regions”. Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, also participated in the event.
