Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal met with NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoana in Kyiv. During the meeting, he talked about the consequences of the Russian attack on Kyiv. The parties discussed the needs of the Ukrainian military and the possibility of providing support to the Defense Forces.
“NATO's support is very important for Ukraine. I expressed gratitude for the effective mechanisms that strengthen our defense capability and help repel Russian attacks, in particular for the PURL initiative,” emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
During the important meeting in Kyiv, the defense minister stressed the significance of NATO's support for Ukraine and thanked for the assistance in increasing the readiness of national forces in the country.
