Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal visited the 34th separate coastal defense brigade of the Marine Corps in the south of the country. Together with the commander of the 30th Marine Corps, Major General Dmytro Delyatitskyi, he listened to the report of the brigade commander on the situation in their area of responsibility and the actions of the enemy.
"I awarded the military with awards from the Ministry of Defense and expressed gratitude for their diversion of enemy attacks. Our troops hold controlled positions, and all attempts by the Russian forces will end in failure," emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
During his visit, the Minister of Defense emphasized the importance and value of the military's contribution to ensuring the country's security and noted their heroism in defending the state border. The meeting also highlighted the readiness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to face any challenges in the defense of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
