The Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko visited the Ternopil region, where together with the regional leadership and people's deputies, he discussed the development of the medical sector. He also examined the work of medical institutions, where the modernization of infrastructure and services is ongoing.
During a visit to the Ternopil Regional Oncology Dispensary, the minister saw the new equipment and announced the imminent commissioning of a linear accelerator. Equipment for diagnosing and treating cancer diseases has also been updated.
In the last five years, medical institutions in Ternopil region have received a significant amount of new equipment worth over 582 million UAH, which has improved the provision of medical care. The minister noted innovations in the Ternopil Regional Children's Clinical Hospital and the work of the blood service.
In conclusion, Minister Liashko's visit emphasized the importance of developing medical infrastructure in Ternopil region and the state's efforts to improve medical care and access to modern treatment technologies.
