Japan allocated 27 million dollars for demining and medicine in Ukraine: what the Ministry of Internal Affairs will receive

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, announced the launch of a grant program in collaboration with the Ambassador of Japan, Masashi Nakagome. This program is aimed at supporting the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and enhancing its capabilities in the areas of demining and medicine.



The total amount of assistance is 27 million US dollars. The first area is humanitarian demining, for which 23.6 million dollars has been allocated. The program provides for the supply of necessary equipment for safe demining to rescuers, as well as mobile safety classrooms for children who are studying.



The second area is the medical field, for which more than 3 million dollars is earmarked. Medical institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will receive modern equipment to provide quality medical assistance to victims. This program is about saving lives, ensuring community safety, and support from Japan.

The grants from Japan can significantly improve the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in important areas such as demining and medical assistance. This will be a beneficial step in ensuring the safety and welfare of citizens and enhancing the image of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.
