The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andriy Sybiga, criticized the Russian forces for the massive attack on Ukraine, during which peaceful residents of two residential buildings in Ternopil were affected.
The attack resulted in at least 10 deaths, including 12 children, and injuries to several dozen others. Similar attacks in other regions of Ukraine have led to destruction and a significant number of casualties, as well as damage to civilian infrastructure, including the energy system.
'The brutal and constant terror of Russia shows that the main path to peace lies in pressuring Moscow to engage in constructive diplomacy to end the war. This war, which Russia should never have started, which it cannot win and does not want to end. Sanctions, isolation, and accountability may finally force Moscow to do so.'
Andriy Sybiga emphasized the aggressiveness of Russia's actions and called on the international community for joint efforts to ensure peace and stability in the region.
