Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga believes that the decision regarding the Reparations loan this week is critical. He emphasizes that it is time to allow the use of Russia's frozen assets to support Ukraine.

According to the minister, there are five reasons why this step is important right now. First, it will surprise Putin and push him to act. Second, it will strengthen Europe's unity and support for Ukraine. Third, it will foster long-term support for Ukraine and boost the morale of Ukrainians. Fourth, it is a matter of justice, as the aggressor must be held accountable. And fifth, punishing Russia will not hinder the peace process but will strengthen Ukraine's positions at the negotiating table and stimulate the peace process.

The Ukrainian government actively supports the idea of launching a Reparations loan, which will help the country in holding back Russian aggression and supporting the national economy. The decision on this is extremely important not only for Ukraine but for all of Europe.
