The Ukrainian vice-consulate has opened in the city of Rzeszów, Poland, which has become the sixth in this country. It will provide consular support for about 60 thousand Ukrainians living in the Rzeszów, Przemyśl, Jarosław, and Bieszczady districts.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine emphasized that ensuring the rights of citizens abroad and access to consular services is an important priority. Expanding diplomatic presence in Poland will contribute to supporting citizens and cooperation between countries.
During the opening ceremony of the vice-consulate, awards were presented to the rescuing city of Rzeszów and the voivode of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship for their cooperation and support for Ukrainians abroad.
It is important for Ukrainians to have support and protection in any country where they are, and expanding the consular network will contribute to this.
