Critical Enterprise Status Revoked
Ukraine's Ministry of Culture has revoked the status of '1+1 Internet' LLC as an enterprise critical to the functioning of the economy and the livelihood of the population during a special period. Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna issued this decision on March 13. The company's critical status had originally been confirmed on December 30, 2025, when the Ministry also added a number of other companies belonging to businessman Ihor Kolomoisky to the list.
Criteria for Granting the Status
According to the current criteria, an enterprise, institution, or organization must be of significant importance to a sector of the national economy or to meeting the needs of a territorial community to qualify for critical status. Another key criterion is the size of the average insured salary at the enterprise, which must be no less than the average regional salary for the fourth quarter of 2021, based on State Statistics Service data.
The revocation of this status could impact the company's operations and its role in the national economy, as well as its ability to serve public needs during a special period. This designation often carries implications for regulatory oversight and operational priorities during national emergencies.
