Experimental Small-Scale Air Defense Project Expanded
Ukraine's Ministry of Defense has broadened a pilot initiative focused on strengthening small-scale air defense capabilities. Under the updated framework, local self-government bodies are now permitted to finance air defense teams operating within volunteer formations of territorial communities (DFTGs). These units are tasked with detecting, monitoring, reporting, and neutralizing aerial threats, while command and control remain under military authority.
