Ministry of Defense prepares new contracts for the military: three times more money and clear terms

Міністерство оборони стимулює розвиток збройних сил через нові фінансові угоди з чіткими умовами.

New contracts for servicemen

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is developing new contracts for servicemen that provide for increased financial support and specific terms of service. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced this initiative in an interview with '24 Channel'.

According to the new contracts, servicemen will receive financial support that will be at least three times higher than the current payments. In addition, the new agreements will contain clear terms of service, which will allow for better planning of personnel issues in military units. The Cabinet of Ministers has already approved the draft law on the new contracts, and it will be directed to the Verkhovna Rada for further consideration.

Oleksandr Syrskyi noted that 'it took a long time to get to this contract' and expressed hope that it 'is already somewhere on its way out'.

Thus, the introduction of new contracts aims not only to improve the financial situation of servicemen but also to increase the efficiency of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Importance of New Contracts

The introduction of new contracts is an important step towards enhancing the motivation of servicemen, especially in the conditions of an ongoing military conflict. Increased financial support may help attract new personnel and reduce staff turnover in the Armed Forces.

Clear terms of service will also reduce uncertainty for servicemen, which may positively affect their morale and overall effectiveness. Such changes may become an important phase in the reform of Ukraine's military system in the face of modern challenges.
