Clarification from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has published a clarification regarding the payment of monetary allowances to the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the beginning of 2026, indicating the timing of funds allocation for December 2025. The agency reported that the partial payment to the military at the end of December 2025 was a technical step, and the entire remaining monetary allowance for December will be paid in January 2026.
Payment Timing
As of January 7, 2026, the financial resources have already been allocated to military units. The order of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine No. 38/ud of 06.01.2026 establishes the payment deadlines:
- Main payments will be made by the 20th of each month.
- Funds that arrive after the 20th will be paid within three working days.
These steps are aimed at ensuring stability and timeliness of funding for servicemen.
Payments of monetary allowances to servicemen are an important aspect of supporting their motivation and well-being, especially in the context of military conflict.
