The situation with Andriy Yermak

Andriy Yermak, former head of the President's Office, did not contact the territorial recruitment centers for military service, despite his statements about his intention to go to the front after his dismissal. This information was confirmed by the Ministry of Defense in response to a request from MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

In the response signed by Deputy Minister of Defense Yevhen Moysyuk, it was stated:

'We inform you that as of the time of consideration of the deputy's appeal, the citizen of Ukraine Yermak Andriy Borysovych did not contact any territorial recruitment center and social support regarding the desire to serve during mobilization, in a special period, or under contract'. Statements by Andriy Yermak

Also, Andriy Yermak stated that he holds no resentment against President Volodymyr Zelensky and does not want to create problems for him by going to the front. These statements raise additional questions about his intentions and actions in the context of mobilization and military service.

This situation highlights the importance of transparency in matters of mobilization and military service, especially among high-ranking officials. The lack of appeals to territorial recruitment centers can be perceived as a contrast to public statements about the intention to serve, which may affect public trust in such individuals. At the same time, it may also reflect broader communication and understanding issues between the authorities and citizens during military conflicts.
