The Ministry of Defense implements new quality standards: what will change for the defense industry

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is actively implementing a state quality assurance system that meets international standards. The Main Department of State Quality Assurance of the Ministry of Defense has begun the development of two professional standards aimed at improving the quality in the field of defense procurement - 'Quality Systems Auditor of Defense Industry Enterprises' and 'State Quality Assurance Specialist'.

The introduction of these standards will allow for the evaluation of personnel compliance in the field of quality, as well as ensure the effective operation of the state quality assurance system in accordance with international standards. In addition, specialists will be able to work on the development of legislative proposals and regulatory acts in this area, preparation of international agreements, and adaptation of NATO standards.
