The Ministry of Defense has launched a new weapons marketplace for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The idea is for military units to order the necessary equipment for the front themselves, avoiding bureaucratic obstacles. This has reduced the supply time for drones to the front from months to just days, speeding up the process.

According to Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal, the military has already placed over 17,000 orders for drones worth nearly 600 million hryvnias on the marketplace. They have received over 13,000 units of equipment valued at 443 million hryvnias. Now the average delivery time is just 10 days, with the fastest delivery taking only 5 days.

It is planned to expand the marketplace to all Armed Forces of Ukraine and add the ability to modify drones for specific combat tasks. The goal is to achieve 70% supply of drones through DOT-Chain Defence within the next 6 months.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense is accelerating the supply of drones to the front thanks to the new weapons marketplace, allowing the military to independently order the necessary equipment. In a short period of time, the system is already functioning quite successfully, providing military units with the necessary resources to carry out tasks at the front. There are plans to further expand the marketplace's functionality and increase the efficiency of supplies in the future.
