New opportunities for obtaining deferments in the 'Reserv+' mobile application

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has started beta testing future opportunities for obtaining deferments through the 'Reserv+' mobile application. Everyone interested can join the testing to ensure the effective operation of the service after its full launch. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization, Ekaterina Chernogorenko, citing 'Glavkom'.

New opportunities for obtaining deferments in the 'Reserv+' application will be available at the end of July - the beginning of August this year. Among those who will be able to apply for a deferment are scientific and pedagogical workers of higher educational institutions, as well as citizens whose spouse has a disability of the first or second group.

  • Scientific and pedagogical workers of higher educational institutions whose data is in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education.

  • Citizens whose spouse has a disability of the first or second group, with confirmed status from the Ministry of Social Policy, the Pension Fund, and the State Register of Civil Status Acts.

Ekaterina Chernogorenko also noted that in the future, families raising children with disabilities will be able to apply for a deferment in the 'Reserv+' application. It is important to be able to apply for a deferment online quickly and without queues. The Ministry of Defense reassured with new grounds for obtaining deferments in the 'Reserv+': individuals with temporary unfitness for service based on the results of the military medical commission and parents of minor children, if one of the parents is serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the beta testing of new features in the 'Reserv+' mobile application, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the possibility of obtaining deferments for certain categories of citizens, such as education workers and relatives of people with disabilities. Expanding the criteria for deferments and the ability to apply for them online is an important step towards improving accessibility and convenience in military service in Ukraine.
