Specialists successfully cleared more than 34,300 hectares of agricultural land from mines in 2025. The National Mine Action Authority made important decisions to improve the demining process and restore land for agricultural use.
In the same year, specialists managed to survey 43,000 hectares of land, of which more than 34,300 hectares were cleared of explosive hazards. Thanks to the use of non-technical survey methods, it was possible to effectively and quickly identify and eliminate the danger.
Government operators now have priority in conducting non-technical surveys of land, which helps avoid duplication of work and ensures better coordination. In addition, Ukraine has developed its own kits for deminers that assist in identifying and clearing hazardous objects.
