Recently, a Memorandum was signed for the implementation of new calculation rules for the cost of works during reconstruction in more than 500 communities. This document is aimed at cooperation and interaction among all participants in the recovery process, including the state, non-governmental organizations, and international partners. It will serve as the basis for establishing a unified accounting system in the construction sector for all projects funded by the state and donors.
The government resolution has already been approved and provides for transparency in the cost of construction works. This is another step towards combating corruption and increasing the efficiency of using funds for reconstruction. The Memorandum and new rules will help ensure openness and transparency in the recovery sector.
