At the forum "Connecting People and Cities: the Bus Transportation Forum," the results and plans for reforming bus transportation were discussed. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba emphasized the importance of building a stable and transparent system that is people-oriented. Representatives of UN Women in Ukraine and Mastercard also spoke at the event.
Key results and plans for the passenger transportation reform
Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development Serhiy Derkach presented the results of the reform, including the launch of an online cabinet for international routes and the implementation of eQueue for buses at the border. He noted that the reform is focused on transitioning to digital solutions that provide clear rules for carriers, predictability for the state, and comfort for passengers.
During the discussions, the development of the route network and the fight against illegal transportation were also discussed. The event received support from the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, Mastercard, and UN Women in Ukraine.
