The Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture has begun updating management teams and management systems in key state enterprises in the maritime and inland water transport industry. The first steps included the dismissal of the leadership of the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company (UDC) and the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA).
The dismissal of the head of UDC has already been supported by the recently formed supervisory board. At the same time, the Ministry announced a transparent competition for this position to attract professionals capable of ensuring the effective and transparent operation of the company, the development of the Danube logistics route, and the strengthening of the state’s logistics resilience.

Further such measures will be implemented in the fields of railway and transport services, and aviation. Transparent management is key to strengthening the state's capability and economic security during wartime.
The Ministry continues systematic work on the modernization of the state enterprise management system, ensuring quality changes and creating conditions for effective development of Ukraine’s port, aviation, railway, and transport infrastructure.
