Diplomats from European countries visited Dnipro
The Ministry of Development invited diplomats from six European countries to visit Dnipro to support frontline communities, restore the region, and implement the initiative 'Movement without Barriers'.
The official visit to Dnipro was attended by Deputy Minister Marina Denysiuk, members of the Political Committee of the 'Partnership for a Strong Ukraine' program, ambassadors from the United Kingdom, Finland, Switzerland, and Sweden in Ukraine, as well as a representative from the Estonian Embassy.
Support for eastern regions and frontline communities
Dnipro plays a key role in restoring eastern regions, coordinating actions of frontline communities, and organizing evacuations in case of shelling. During the visit, issues of the heating season, stability of heating and water supply, as well as operational recovery after attacks were discussed.
Support for the initiative 'Movement without Barriers'
During their stay in Dnipro, the delegation reviewed the process of establishing a barrier-free route and discussed plans for implementing low-floor trams and equipping inclusive restrooms. There are plans to expand cooperation to other cities participating in the project.
'The issue of Ukraine's territorial integrity is fundamental and inseparable, Ukrainians continue to stay home and actively work on the restoration and development of their cities.'
Delegation representatives also visited the Center for Contemporary Culture in Dnipro and the Center for Missing Persons under Special Circumstances, where their work is critically important for thousands of families.
The visit of diplomats from European countries to Dnipro is aimed at supporting the eastern regions of Ukraine, supporting frontline communities, and expanding the initiative 'Movement without Barriers', aimed at improving accessibility in cities for all citizens, including persons with disabilities.
