Youth Forum - 2026 in Odesa
The Youth Forum - 2026 took place in Odesa, dedicated to the self-realization of youth in Ukraine. The event was attended by the Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity, Denys Uliutin, as well as representatives of local self-government, the public sector, business, and international organizations. The main theme of the forum was the discussion of housing programs, particularly the subsidized mortgage program under the eOselya initiative for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and residents of frontline territories.
Support for youth and social initiatives
In his speech, Denys Uliutin emphasized the importance of supporting youth, stating:
'Young people in Ukraine have begun to take responsibility for themselves and their families much earlier, volunteering, caring for safety, and changing their usual way of life. The task of the state is to give young people opportunities to build themselves and, along with this, build the country.' Denys Uliutin, Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity
Moreover, the Ministry of Social Policy is working on launching a social rental program aimed at easing access to housing for youth. The ministry also invites students and graduates to undergo internships, which opens new opportunities for their professional development. More information about internships and vacancies can be found on the ministry's official website.
This forum became an important platform for discussing the problems faced by youth in Ukraine, particularly in the context of social and economic challenges. The introduction of new housing programs and internship opportunities can positively impact the lives of young people, providing them with more chances for professional and personal development. The participation of state institutions in these initiatives demonstrates an effort to support youth and facilitate their integration into society amidst modern challenges.
As the Ministry of Social Policy introduces initiatives to support youth, addressing the intersection of security and youth development remains crucial. The upcoming agenda of Ukraine's renewed cabinet emphasizes strategies that prioritize young people's safety and well-being.
