The Deputy Ministers of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine visited Zaporizhzhia to assess the living conditions of internally displaced persons. The transit center in the city is ready to provide the necessary assistance to those who have left their homes.
The center will provide a full range of services, starting from registration and restoring documents to temporary accommodation and basic support. The Ministry of Social Policy emphasizes support for vulnerable groups in this process.
“At the center of attention – support for IDPs. The conditions in the transit center are appropriate. This is what helps a person stabilize their situation in the first stage after evacuation. We also visited temporary accommodation places. It is encouraging that local authorities are working together with the central government in one direction, and we hear each other,”Tatiana Kirienko emphasized.
The deputy minister also noted the importance of creating conditions for the accommodation of pets in transit centers. The process of regulating this issue has already begun with the goal of allowing living with animals in each transit center.
The focus on caring for the interests of those who find themselves in difficult life circumstances, including their pets, is an important indicator of humanity and support for the needs of citizens in crisis situations.
