Information about the leak of personal data of Ukrainians through testing by notaries in the 'e-Notary' system is untrue, the Ministry of Justice reported. The Notarial Chamber demands to stop the testing due to identified leaks from the Unified Register of Powers of Attorney and the Inheritance Register.

«All powers of attorney that were entered into the indicated registers before a certain date became available to all testers, including notaries and employees of territorial bodies», - it is stated in the message.

The Notarial Chamber considers this a violation of notarial secrecy, but the Ministry of Justice claims that information about the leak of personal data is manipulative. According to the agency, more than 2,000 notaries have tested the system, preparing over 250 proposals for improvements.

The Ministry of Justice promises to carefully process the proposals and improve the system. The first services for citizens in 'Diya' are planned to be introduced in 2026.
