Ukrainian Veterans Ministry Launches Investigation
The Ministry for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine has initiated an official investigation into potential abuses regarding exemptions from military mobilization. The probe focuses on Volodymyr Petrov, who was granted the status of a 'critically important employee' at the state institution 'National Military Memorial Cemetery'.
Volodymyr Petrov has been employed at this institution since July 31, 2025. His exemption from mobilization is valid until January 21, 2026. In 2025, Petrov received approximately 70,000 hryvnias in salary from the institution.
