The Ministry of Veterans has published a list of useful mobile applications designed to provide psychological support to veterans. These applications can be helpful at times when it is essential to pay attention to one's mental health.

Base. This is a Ukrainian free and anonymous application that includes:

  • materials on adaptation after service;

  • tips for managing stress, anxiety, and the effects of concussions;

  • exercises for overcoming insomnia;

  • a mood tracker;

  • the ability to anonymously ask a question to a psychotherapist.

PFA Mobile Ukraine is a first psychological aid application that provides algorithms of action in case of shock or panic, instructions for support after traumatic events, and psychoeducational materials about the psyche's response in crisis situations.

BetterMe: Mental Health is a versatile application adapted for Ukrainians, where you can find breathing exercises for overcoming stress, meditations for improving sleep, and chat support with constant access.

PE Coach 2 is an English-language application developed for U.S. veterans, which helps in overcoming post-traumatic stress disorder. It allows you to track thoughts, emotions, anxiety levels, perform exercises to overcome PTSD, and use guidelines during panic attacks.

It is important to remember that these applications do not replace a doctor's consultation but can be useful for support and understanding one's mental state.

Mobile applications for veterans provide convenient access to psychological support and useful materials for improving mental health. They are created considering the needs of veterans in various situations when help may be needed to overcome stress, anxiety, or after traumatic events.
