The USA is preparing a new scheme for arms supplies to Ukraine

American NATO allies plan to finance arms supplies to Ukraine through a new scheme. According to US permanent representative to NATO Matthew Vitaker in an interview with the WHO 13 News channel, this will help initiate peace talks and increase pressure on Russia.

'President Trump wants this war to end. And he believes that by allowing our NATO allies to finance American weapons for Ukraine, he will create conditions for peace negotiations,'
- noted the diplomat.

The plan includes a visit by a special envoy to Moscow and the provision of the most modern weapons to Ukraine. According to Vitaker, this will demonstrate President Trump's determination to resolve the conflict through diplomatic means, opening up opportunities for a peaceful settlement.

Some experts do not share Washington's optimism

Some experts doubt that a temporary ceasefire can help resolve the conflict with Russia. Director of the Center for Defense Strategies Alexander Khara believes that Ukraine should be prepared for a protracted confrontation, as Russia is unlikely to remain under peaceful conditions.

'If achieving a temporary ceasefire, which Trump hopes for, is just a pause in the conflict and not its end. This may only be the beginning of a new stage of the war,'
- emphasized Khara.

Instead, strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities may force Moscow back to negotiations, but the actual end of the conflict remains uncertain.

Ukraine can expect a new scheme for arms supplies with the support of American allies in NATO, which should prompt Russia towards peace negotiations. However, some experts warn that a temporary ceasefire may only postpone the conflict temporarily, rather than resolve it permanently.
