International donors have provided Ukraine with a record amount for energy

At a meeting with the heads of foreign diplomatic missions in Ukraine, Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk announced that by July 2025, the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine has accumulated more than 1.15 billion euros from 33 donor countries.



Hrynchuk also noted that Ukraine's strategic priorities are aimed at ensuring the resilience of the energy system, stable energy supply, and modernization of energy infrastructure. In addition, she emphasized the importance of accumulating resources for the upcoming heating season and creating a strategic gas reserve for Ukrainian and Eastern European needs.



“Assistance to Ukrainian energy today is a joint implementation of the latest solutions and engineering technologies, starting with shared values and a common vision for the future. Our energy struggle has demonstrated how many like-minded individuals we have,”
summarized Svitlana Hrynchuk.



The Energy Support Fund of Ukraine has received significant financial support from 33 donors, with a total amount exceeding 1.15 billion euros. The Energy Minister emphasized the importance of these funds for ensuring the resilience of the energy system and supporting Ukraine's energy independence. She also pointed out the necessity of developing the latest technologies and supporting the country's energy infrastructure, which is one of the key tasks for the future.
