Mobilization after 55: It became known where to send conscripts

Ukrainian legislation provides for the possibility of mobilizing men up to 60 years old, but the conditions for conscription for those who have already crossed the 50-year mark have their own features. Among the reasons for deferment for this category, important factors include health, disability, and caring for children or disabled individuals.

Mobilization of individuals over 50 does not involve their assignment to assault brigades unless they have expressed a desire to do so beforehand. Typically, these conscripts remain in rear service, where their military specialty is taken into account. In the Ground Forces, not only the health of the mobilized is assessed but also their combat experience, education, and professional skills. They are often assigned to positions as communication operators, drivers, electricians, financiers, or in the construction of defensive structures.

It should be noted that violations of military registration may result in fines in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.
