According to the legislation on mobilization training and mobilization, a general mobilization and martial law will begin in Ukraine on October 1, lasting until the beginning of November 2025. Men aged 18 to 60 will be subject to conscription into the Armed Forces.
Who falls under the first call
According to Ukrainian legislation, citizens of conscription age who are recognized as fit for service by the medical commission and cannot legally evade conscription will be selected for mobilization.
Priority candidates include those with military experience, those who previously had health restrictions, men aged 25-60 without military experience, and those who have lost their right to deferment from conscription.
Conditions for delivering summonses
According to the legislation, summonses can be delivered anywhere, including at home, work, educational institutions, or even on the street. They may be delivered by representatives of territorial recruitment centers, local authorities, or heads of enterprises and organizations.
The process is only considered possible after the serviceman personally signs the summons. The possibility of delivering the summons by registered mail is also considered official.
