The conclusion of the contract for the purchase of 1,000 maneuverable vehicles through the Prozorro system by the Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is considered an important step in improving the defense sector. ATVs and other additional transport will allow soldiers to respond more quickly to events on the front and ensure conditions for operational action in response to challenges.
According to the results of the auctions, in particular, the supply of 500 ATVs has been contracted for a total of 119.8 million UAH. This is 25.5% less than the expected cost. The equipment is to be delivered by the end of 2025.
The Director General of the Procurement Agency, Arsen Jumadilov, emphasized: 'This procurement will help increase the mobility of military units, ensure cost savings, and provide transparency in the procurement process.'
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine plans to continue responding to the needs of military units by providing them with modern equipment taking into account the priorities on the front.
