Expected increase in prices for dairy products

Economist Volodymyr Chizh reported an expected increase in prices for dairy products in Ukraine in January 2026. It is forecasted that prices for milk, butter, and fermented dairy products will rise by 7-10%. This increase in cost is inevitable due to the rising expenses of producers.

Over the last 12 months, prices for dairy products have already increased by 15-25%. The average cost of a package of milk with 2.6% fat as of December 11, 2025, was 56.98 UAH. The lowest price for a 900 ml package of milk is 33.99 UAH, and the cost of packaging varies across different retail chains.
