At the last meeting of the coordination headquarters for the engineering protection of critical infrastructure, chaired by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for Recovery Oleksiy Kuleba, representatives of the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure reported on the progress of the works. Construction is underway at many sites, including the installation of columns and fortification blocks.
It is worth noting that the procurement of construction materials is carried out without intermediaries, directly from manufacturers, which allows for cost savings and ensures the reliability of the process. Great attention is paid to strengthening partnerships with Ukrainian manufacturers and the rational use of state funds to ensure joint security.

The Recovery Agency's website is constantly updating an analytical dashboard that allows every user to track the purchased materials and their costs over the week. Last week, information was added about the materials procured by contractors in a number of regions, including Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Odesa, and Donetsk regions.
ℹ The Coordination Headquarters for the protection of critical infrastructure facilities was established by a government decision in mid-October 2025. The Recovery Agency and the Ministry of Development coordinate the construction of protection at selected critical infrastructure facilities.
In cooperation with the State Agency and the Ministry of Energy, facilities needing additional protection in the conflict zone have been identified. Currently, their number exceeds 100. Sixteen typical engineering solutions have already been developed, with the possibility of adaptation for different regions and taking into account existing production capacities for construction.
The State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine actively monitors procurement processes to ensure the safety of critical facilities. Cooperation with Ukrainian manufacturers and avoiding intermediaries in procurement is a priority task in addressing this issue.
