Its innovative ArcticMesh cooling system incorporates thermal gel infused with microscopic diamond particles and a vapor chamber measuring 8384 mm²—40% larger than that in the original Signature model.

The phone features a 6.78-inch OLED Extreme AMOLED Duo display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness reaching 12,000 nits. This display is 34% more energy-efficient than its predecessor and boasts a lifespan extended by 121%.

The front camera is also 50 MP, equipped with autofocus and supports 4K video recording.

Battery capacity has increased to 7000 mAh with a silicon-carbon design, a 35% improvement over the original Signature's 5200 mAh pack. Charging options include wired fast charging at 90W and wireless charging at 50W. The device measures 162.01×77.04×7.99 mm and weighs 227 grams, heavier than the original’s 186 grams and slightly thicker at 7 mm.

The chassis is crafted from aluminum, complemented by a ceramic and glass back panel protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3. The Signature 27 carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance and meets the MIL-STD-810H military standard. Additional features include Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, a six-antenna system, and Wi-Fi 8 support.

Alongside the Signature 27, Motorola is preparing to launch the expansive foldable Razr Flex, codenamed Parker, expected around mid-December 2026. This device sports a 6.92-inch internal OLED display with a resolution of 2364×1728 pixels, a dynamic 165 Hz refresh rate, and support for HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. The outer display measures 4.97 inches with a resolution of 1736×1140 pixels.

The debut of the Motorola Signature 27 marks a pivotal moment for the brand, underscoring its commitment to strengthening its foothold in the premium smartphone arena through cutting-edge technology and innovative design.

As Motorola continues to innovate with the launch of the Signature 27, the competitive landscape in the premium smartphone market is heating up. Notably, Samsung has also introduced a new foldable device, the W27, which builds on the success of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, further showcasing the advancements in smartphone technology. This growing rivalry promises exciting developments for consumers in the coming months.
