The 'Iron Shift' Project
Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsia have teamed up to develop talented young people through an effort called 'Iron Shift'. Under this initiative, 23 students from Interior Ministry lyceums specializing in security and national-patriotic education have been sent to Bukovel.
Project Program
The schedule includes lectures on IT, management, cybersecurity, and patriotic education. Participants will also receive tactical medicine training and will engage in sports and psychological activities. The program aims to help students build leadership skills, collaborate in teams, and come up with their own social projects and business ideas.
So far, 563 children from the Interior Ministry system have joined the project, and the partnership between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ukrzaliznytsia has been running since October 2024.
'Iron Shift' is an important step in supporting young people, offering them knowledge and experiences that can support both personal growth and future professional development. The initiative also demonstrates how public institutions and enterprises can work together to deliver socially meaningful programs.
