Accessible Driving Schools in Ukraine
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is expanding a network of barrier-free driving schools, enabling individuals with disabilities to learn driving from scratch or retrain on adapted vehicles. Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko made the announcement, stressing that specialists at MVS service centers stand ready to assist with vehicle re-registration and document processing, ensuring the entire experience is as straightforward and inclusive as possible.
Krystyna Sanina, a veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who lost both legs in a car accident, shared her personal training experience. Her story underscores the critical need for accessible driving schools, which open up new opportunities for people with physical limitations.
'Our goal is to make this process as accessible and clear as possible. MVS service center specialists are fully prepared to offer all necessary support, help with re-registration procedures, and assist in obtaining the required documents.'
