Becoming the Next Director General of the Ukrainian Institute
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has opened a competitive hiring process for the position of Director General at the Ukrainian Institute. Applications are being accepted until 25 September 2026. Those interested can submit their documents by email to 415@mfa.gov.ua.
What Candidates Must Meet
Applicants are expected to satisfy the following criteria:
- Hold Ukrainian citizenship and a university degree.
- Speak Ukrainian fluently and have English proficiency at no lower than C1 level.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the cultural landscape and hands-on experience in public diplomacy, especially in organizing cultural projects abroad.
- Show solid skills in international relations, communications, and project management.
- Knowledge of additional foreign languages will be considered an advantage.
To enter the competition, candidates need to send a short biography, a motivation letter, and a concept outlining their vision for the Ukrainian Institute's further growth.
