In the Hlyboka community of Chernivtsi region, new rules for motorcyclists and owners of other noisy two-wheeled vehicles will now be implemented. From now on, the movement of such vehicles is prohibited from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM to avoid disturbing people's peaceful sleep.
Also, the movement of motorcycles will be prohibited around the clock if they have faulty exhaust systems or silencers that create noise. These restrictions are adopted considering the needs of vulnerable populations and security threats. It is worth recalling that in June this year, a Russian kamikaze drone 'Shahed' was discovered in Ukraine, which is used for intelligence gathering in occupied territories.
'During air raids and attacks by drones of the 'Shahed' type, any extra noise can interfere with timely response or even cause disorientation'
The police will conduct checks and raids to monitor compliance with these rules and respond to citizen complaints. This will help ensure peace and quiet in residential areas and allow people to rest without additional disturbances.
The Hlyboka community has implemented restrictions on the movement of noisy motorcycles to ensure the tranquility and safety of residents, especially vulnerable groups. The police will monitor compliance with the rules to ensure silence and uphold public order at all times.
