In the village of Aleksandriivka, Korukivka district, Chernihiv region, an 11-year-old boy was injured from the explosion of an unknown object that he picked up. According to the State Emergency Service, the boy sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.
“We urge parents to regularly conduct explanatory conversations with children about the dangers of explosive objects,” the State Emergency Service reported.
Unfortunately, other explosion cases have been recorded in Ukraine. In Odesa region, a 15-year-old teenager died while trying to disassemble an unknown object found in a forested area. In Mykolaiv, the explosion of an explosive device resulted in injuries to five State Emergency Service employees and caused vehicles to catch fire. In Kharkiv, a fire occurred due to an explosion in a residential building.
“Preliminarily, police established that the young man brought home an unknown object he found in a forest and began to disassemble it in the yard. The object exploded and triggered a fire, resulting in the teenager's death,” the statement said.

Unknown objects found on the streets or around homes can be very dangerous, so it is important to be cautious and not touch them. The recommendation is to inform law enforcement or emergency services about any suspicious situation to avoid risks to your life and the lives of those around you.
