A man has died after a collision between a train and a car at a railway crossing in the Chernivtsi region. The incident occurred at a crossing within the village of Dubivtsi, where a locomotive struck a Kia Sorento. The driver, a 48-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Separate Fatal Crash in Lviv Region
In a separate tragic incident on February 24, a 14-year-old girl was killed and her 9-year-old brother seriously injured in a crash on the M-09 highway near the village of Smerekov in the Lviv district. The children were siblings. The driver of the Skoda vehicle involved was identified as 25-year-old Ruslan Kulchytskyi, a prosecutor from the Sheptytskyi District Prosecutor's Office.
