Yesterday, July 23, a tragedy occurred on the dredger vessel of the Delta Pilot branch of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration - three workers were killed in the explosion. The vessel was at the mouth of the Bystre and was conducting scheduled operations when the emergency situation happened.
Other crew members were taken to the hospital, where they are receiving necessary assistance. Only after a thorough investigation can answers be given to the questions of what caused the tragedy. The sea access channel will remain closed during the investigation.
