In the Dniprovskyi region, in the settlement of Mezhova, local resident Oleksiy Zenenko shot down two Russian unmanned aerial vehicles using a regular hunting rifle. This story took place in mid-October, when Russian drones were flying low over the settlement. Zenenko noted that they fly here quite often, and he often sees them above his house.
The man hit the enemy drones twice. The first one began to climb up after the shot but lost control and fell. The second incident occurred a few days later when Zenenko shot down another Russian drone. Despite the successful results, the military warns him against such actions as dangerous. It is worth noting that Oleksiy Zenenko has extensive experience in handling weapons and has worked as a forest master for over 35 years.
