Today, a road inspection was conducted in Dnipropetrovs'k Region along with the head of the Recovery Agency, Serhiy Sukhomlyn. Repairs are underway and drone protection is being established. The work is being carried out in constant cooperation with the military. This year, approximately 400 thousand square meters of road surface have already been restored in the region.
Due to limited resources and a complex security situation, repairs cannot be conducted simultaneously on all sections of roads in the front-line zones. Therefore, a priority system has been established, determined by the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense. The Recovery Agency is responsible for state roads, but there are roads of different levels in combat zones.
Serhiy Sukhomlyn explained: 'It is important to restore roads comprehensively in all directions, as a destroyed section can lead to the stoppage of logistics routes.'
An example of successful coordination is Barvinkove in Kharkiv Region, where roads of different levels are being restored simultaneously according to agreed priorities. This approach is actively applied in other front-line regions as well. The main task is to enhance protection within 10-15 kilometers from the front line.
The Recovery Agency is actively working on front-line road sections, restoring and ensuring their safety in collaboration with the military. It is important to maintain logistics routes and enhance protection in front-line zones to ensure uninterrupted operations at the forefront.
