In Dnipropetrovsk region, roads are actively being restored and the safety of key routes near the front is being ensured. Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba, together with the head of the State Infrastructure Agency Serhiy Sukhomlyn, inspected the condition of frontline roads, where repair work is ongoing and anti-drone systems are being installed.
Roads are being restored in constant coordination with the military, under challenging conditions and security. Repair work in frontline areas is conducted based on priorities set by the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense, taking defense needs into account.
“We are restoring routes where they are critically needed for protection, humanitarian aid, and medicine,” noted Oleksiy Kuleba.
Work in Dnipropetrovsk region
This year, nearly 400 thousand square meters of roads in Dnipropetrovsk region have been repaired. Bridges and overpasses have also been repaired, allowing for the continuous movement of defense supplies. Some facilities have been damaged by firepower and are being restored again.
The Recovery Agency is responsible for state roads, but in frontline regions, logistical routes go through various roads. The destruction of even one section makes the route unusable, so the work is planned comprehensively.
As a result of road restoration in Dnipropetrovsk region, the safety and accessibility of areas near conflict zones are improved, which is important for the lives and movement of residents of the region and for providing necessary assistance.
