В Дніпропетровській області виявлено масивні порушення, пов'язані з видобутком води: збитки перевищують 2 мільярди гривень.

Suspicion of Illegal Mineral Water Extraction

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a company official has been suspected of illegally extracting underground mineral waters, causing losses to the state exceeding 2 billion hryvnias. It is known that the extraction took place without special permits, which is a violation of legislation.

The incident occurred in the Samara district, where the illegally extracted resources were used for selling mineral water to the population in 2023-2024. As a result, the state budget suffered significant financial losses. Such cases of illegal water extraction highlight the problem of controlling natural resources in Ukraine.

Corruption and Crime Issues

In addition, two local residents were detained in Dnipro for extorting 35 thousand dollars. The situation indicates the existence of systemic problems in the fight against crime in the region. Also, a criminal organization was recently uncovered in Prykarpattia, which embezzled over 71 million hryvnias of budget funds from 2021 to 2023, indicating widespread corruption schemes in the country.

Illegal extraction of underground mineral waters and other crimes point to the need for increased control and accountability for violations of legislation in the field of natural resource use. The situation in Dnipropetrovsk and other regions demonstrates the relevance of fighting corruption and crime, which, in turn, may affect citizens' trust in state institutions and their ability to ensure law and order.
