New Automated Traffic Enforcement Cameras Go Live in Ukraine
Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs has activated 37 new automated cameras to record traffic violations. These devices have been installed in cities and on intercity highways as part of a nationwide initiative to improve road safety and reduce infractions. The information was released by the AutoTema channel, citing data from the Ministry.
Where the New Cameras Are Located
The cameras are operational across multiple regions. In Brovary, new devices are positioned at:
- the intersections of Kyivska, Heroiv Ukrainy, and Vyacheslav Chornovola streets;
- the intersection of Kyivska and Shevchenka streets.
In Obukhiv, a camera is installed at 119 Kyivska Street. Vyshhorod has received new cameras at:
- the intersection of Sholudenka and Borysa Hlibskoho streets;
- Shevchenko Avenue near Naberezhna.
In Bila Tserkva, enforcement cameras are located on:
- 113 Oleksandriiskyi Boulevard;
- Knyazia Volodymyra Avenue.
Vinnytsia also has new cameras:
- on Vyacheslav Chornovola Street near the Kyiv Bridge;
- at the intersection of Nemyrivske Highway and Pokrovska Street.
In Chornomorsk, Zolotonosha, and Chernihiv, new devices are installed at:
- the intersection of Myru Avenue and Liskovytska Street.
Beyond cities, new cameras have appeared on highways in Kyiv Oblast, specifically at:
- the 23rd kilometer of the M-07 highway;
- the R-02 highway;
- the 38th and 39th kilometers of the M-05 highway.
Furthermore, new cameras are installed in Chernihiv, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Odesa oblasts. In Lviv Oblast, cameras are placed on the following highways:
- M-06;
- M-11;
- R-15;
- H-13;
- T-14 at nine points.
In Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, cameras are installed on the H-10 and H-09 highways at four sections.
The installation of these new automated enforcement cameras is part of a large-scale program by Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs aimed at enhancing road safety.
